There is one God, existing eternally in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each of whom possesses all the attributes of Deity and the characteristics of personality.
God the Father sent Jesus Christ into the world to reconcile sinners to himself. Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He was God in the flesh, both true God and true man. He died on the cross as atoning sacrifice for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where He now sits at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for His own.
The Holy Spirit has come into the world to reveal and glorify Christ, to convict men of their sins and to impart new life to all who place their life in Christ. He indwells believers from the moment of spiritual birth, seals them until the day of redemption and empowers them to live a life pleasing to God.
Man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin and a relationship with God is only possible through faith in Jesus Christ as atoning sacrifice in payment for sin.
Those who place their trust in what Christ accomplished on the cross, refusing to trust in any other hope for heaven, are given the gift of eternal life, which once granted, can never be lost. The loving grace of God is the source of our salvation and the shed blood of Jesus and His resurrection provide the only ground for our justification.
The sole basis for our beliefs is the Bible, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. It was inspired by the Holy Spirit and was written without error in the original manuscripts. It is the supreme and final authority in faith and life in every age. Tradition and experience are subject to the truths of scripture and are only valuable in as much as they are in agreement with Scripture.
